Through a contract with the State of Indiana Department of Child Services, The Caring Corner provides a comprehensive array of child welfare services which promote the well- being of children and families. These services include individual and family therapy, child adoption preparation, counseling, psychological and psychiatric testing, medication evaluation, crisis response, parent education, family functioning assessment, and substance abuse counseling and testing.

The Caring Corner provides a wide spectrum of counseling services to individuals that have Medicaid or Private Insurance. This service includes individual and family therapy, marriage counseling, crisis intervention and substance abuse counseling.
The Caring Corner operates a transportation service entitled The Care Van. The service provides transit for persons that have non-emergency medical appointments in Lake County, Indiana.
The Caring Corner operates a youth mentoring/life skills training and tutoring program. The project provides individual services as well as group training for K-12 students in Lake County, Indiana.
The Caring Corner, in conjunction with its sister program, Strategies For Care, operates the ICE program which is designed to increase positive family values and improve service delivery among community organizations.
The Caring Corner provides social work technical support to businesses and community organizations throughout the region.
